ingredients(2 servings)

ham 2 slices
onion 1/4
(A)macaroni(lightly washed) 80 g
(A)milk 400 cc
(A)soup stock(block) 1/2
(A)salt some
(A)pepper some
(A)flour 1 tbsp
grated cheese 2 tbsp
bread crumbs 1 tbsp

Preparation

  1. Cut ham into 1 x 2 cm pieces. Mince onion.
  2. Mix(1)and(A)in a microwave-safe bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave(500 W)for 2 min. Take it out, mix lightly, and microwave again for 5 more min.
  3. Check the texture of macaroni. When soft, transfer it to gratin dish.(If hard, microwave again for 1 to 2 min.)
  4. Sprinkle grated cheese and bread crumbs, and cook in toaster oven until brown.

Helpful Hints

  • Butter, which is usually used to make the white sauce, is not used here.
